It's been over a year since my degree show and my graduation. This past year, I've had moments where I've been disappointed in myself and I've had to remind myself that it's difficult to do what you want to do, when you have no idea what you want to do. So I have spent a lot of time thinking, just trying to work out what am I actually good at and accepting these skills. For example, I have always drawn in a particular style, but i have never thought of it as one of my talents. Even though I haven't felt as thought this past year has been that productive for me, but I've learnt a lot from it and found lots of inspiration. I feel as though I have a better understanding of my path.
Right now, I'm not working in a job that relates to my degree, but I'm generating more work for my website and portfolio, so that it speacialises more in what I do want to do. At least it feels like I'm taking the next step forward. I know whatever comes next isn't going to be easy, but I am determined to do it.
So I guess this is the first step.
